The joys of being parents

On Monday we went to the Draper Temple Open House. We got tickets to go with Wes' family but the spot was for 8:40pm. Our ward had some in the afternoon so we decided to go on our own. The temple is so beautiful and Sophie was amazing! She knew where we were and couldn't stop looking around while kicking and babbling. Although it took us 3 1/2 hours from when we got out of our car to when we got back. So fyi to those who are going plan to wait for at least 2 hours. But I will say it is definatley worth the wait.
The other day I noticed that Sophie was drooling alot and it was pink. I then realized that her gums were bleeding and so was her tongue. I think it might have been because of her bottom teeth hitting her top gums. Let's just say that the past two days have been rough over here at the Womble's.

I've decided it's time to give Sophie baths in the tub. She loves it! She will splash and talk to all her rubber duckies. She will just play in there for a good 15-20 minutes. On Wednesday she was lucky and got to have two baths!

Today we went for a walk outside. Sophie was whiny and I didn't know what was wrong. I needed to get out of the house. It felt good to get fresh air and I can't wait until it gets warmer so we can go on more walks.

We finally got our bedroom painted yesterday. But I still need to put everything back and decorate it once again. The other night Sophie was in our room and rolled over to the heat vent. This was the first time she had noticed it. I'm just glad that warm air wasn't blowing at her when she decided to check it out.
