Sewing Project #1

I wanted to make a book for Sophie so she could learn her colors. I came across a pattern to make a quiet book, but decided to go with the idea and make my own. This is what I came up with. What do you think?

After I finished sewing it I couldn't figure out how to bind it. Thanks to Grandma Jewel we were able to punch holes and attach silver rings. The plan is to cover them with different colored ribbon. It's almost done, I just need to add the finishing touches. I'm thinking of making an alphabet book next. Any ideas for future books?

The blue bird is my favorite page. Love the eyes! What inspired you for the pink page? I know Wes likes green....What is your favorite color Jes.
The message to Sophie is so precious. Jes, Do you have the animal pictures from the Church. (They are in big white envelopes) A great language activity is to start with the animal pictures and teach the name and sound an animal makes.

Sophie is lucky to have such a patient, creative mom.
