Stranded at the gas pump

For my family's reunion last week we spent a few days up in Park City. As we were traveling home we needed to stop and gas up the car. We got off the freeway and saw a few gas stations but decided not to stop until the light came on.
Once the light came on we were going to go to a 7-11. But missed the turn so kept on driving until we got to a Phillips 66. After we had filled up we tried to start the car. Nothing. We've had this problem before with our car and it usually works after you pour coke on it. But we had no success.
Wes went back in and asked the checker if she had jumper cables. She did not. We were stranded at the gas pump. Unsure of what to do. Turns out right at the moment a gentleman was paying for somethings and he worked at the Goodyear right across the street. He came out and looked at our car and went to grab some tools from the shop. He came back with tools and a new connector for our battery. This sweet stranger took 30 minutes out of his day to come over and help us. He didn't have to but he did.
After replacing the connector the car did start. He told us we shouldn't have any more issues or trouble for a while. As he was leaving Wes tried to give him some money for his help and kindness. But he would not accept it.
We could have stopped at any gas station. But we ended up at this one. I know that this man was there at that time to help us. He was our angel at the gas station. It was because of his kindness and concern that we were no longer stranded at the gas pump. So, thank you kind sir. For helping me and my family. I will never forget the service you rendered to us.

I love this story. It's true that HF knows all the things we need, even before we ask. I'm so glad that he put an ANGEL in your path.
