For Wes' birthday we went to a BYU rugby game at the Rio Tinto Stadium. It was the Wasatch Cup against U of U.
This was the first time I've ever seen a rugby game and Wes' first game actually watching instead of playing. He used to play in high school. It was so fun! I think rugby might be one of my favorite sports now.
Wes said he was scared of this guy with long hair. He looked pretty intimidating.
It is such a quick paced game. There are no time outs and they never stop the clock. Even when guys are hurt in the middle of the field.
No rugby game would be complete without doing the Haka.

Matt's mission companion plays on the BYU rugby team. He's probably the only redhead. He's way cool. Glad you guys had fun!
and I'm pretty sure I know the haka because they do it at Matt's mission reunion every time. lol. He served in New Zealand.
It def is a fun sport to watch. The Rugby 7's tournament was held here in Las Vegas and James company had a booth there selling stuff so we got to go watch the games for free :)
