We've been living here in our house for about 4 months now. I thought it was about time I started showing you what it looks like now.
This is the view you get from the front door looking left. The quilt and pillows were made by me.
It's also where we have our kitchen and eating area. The little white shelves are built in and were already here when we moved. They are really skinny and are a bit tricky to decorate but I love how they look now. Some family pictures and a felt leaf garland I made last year.
Another feature that we love is the plantation shutters. They are in every room upstairs. I've also started collecting different kinds of chairs to replace our kitchen chairs with. I need two more, so for now they are in our front room.
While moving all our things into storage before we moved here our kitchen table broke. We found this one from osmond designs and love that it has a leaf in it so we can extend it out for company.
We have loved having a place to call our own. It has been really fun to decorate and make our house a home.
