( Reaching for the goal)
Before I had my shop featured I set a goal. I wanted to make enough money to buy a new sewing machine. I am using my mom's old sewing machine and I'd like something that is growing with my sewing skills. With the success of my shop being featured I was able to get enough money to buy a sewing machine. (And have some money left over) Thanks to all of you who helped me "reach" my goal.
I am so excited to have my very own sewing machine. I worked so hard and it all payed off. I have a feeling there are going to be lots of sewing posts in the future. Thanks again!

Congrats, thats great! So, what machine did you decide on?
It is so good to have something to work towards to reward yourself for all your hard work. What kind of sewing machine are you going to get? Right now I am borrowing one from a sister in our ward who is an amazing seamstress - she had two sewing machines so she is letting me use her extra one for as long as I want. But eventually I would like to get my own. Before that though, I really want a new entertainment center for our tv. Right now we just have a cheap tv stand that's old and moldy on the inside. It is made out of particle board and it is really a piece of junk. I am saving up my babysitting money to buy a new one!
