Do you remember when I played soccer and I told you the other players didn't have very good manners? You were so understanding.
Do you remember when I wanted to make things and learn how to sew? Thanks for teaching me how to sew and how to be a homemaker.
Do you remember when we'd go boating and everyone else would want to ski and wakeboard? All I wanted to do was swim and be in the water. Thanks for bringing me swimming and for sharing your love of water with me.
Do you remember when I got married? You were so happy and supportive of my decision. I enjoyed those late night talks about life. Thanks for setting such a great example for me to look up to.
Do you remember when I had Sophie? You were over everyday that summer. Thanks so much for helping and teaching me how to be a mother. But above all thank you for being you!
Happy Birthday! I will always remember the lessons you have taught me. I'm so grateful to be your daughter, I love you!

I have loved sharing life's experiences with you. We have learned together about soccer, boating, creating, marriage and babies. Thanks for being patient with me too as I learn new things about being a grandma and mother-in-law. I'm the lucky one to have you for a daughter. What was I thinking when I wanted a BOY?
Love you too.
Aunt Jewel is the best! Happy Birthday!!
