Yellowstone: Day Two Continued...

We also drove to Old Faithful on Saturday.

This geyser went off while we were there. But we were way over on the other side of the park. Once we got to it the steam was everywhere!

It was really fun to watch Old Faithful erupt.

They now have a Visitor's Center that you can walk through and learn more about Old Faithful and the other geysers surrounding it. I learned that Old Faithful still is Faithful despite what you might have heard. If the eruption is longer than 2 minutes 30 seconds it will go off in 90 minutes. Or if it is shorter than that it goes off in 60 minutes. Interesting huh?

While walking back to the car Sophie insisted that I take a picture of her by this outcropping of cement. :) Gotta love that crooked cheesy grin.
We also drove through the rest of Yellowstone so we could stay the night in Jackson Hole. This waterfall was tucked away but well worth getting out to snap a few pictures.

This particular elk was right by the side of the road. I could have reached out and touched it I was that close. I screamed when it turned it's head toward me.

This was the view we saw. So pretty!

We were stylin' in our swagger wagon!

We also got to drive through the Grand Teton's on our way to Jackson.
 They were stunning!
