Fall is Coming....

While driving back home one afternoon we noticed the leaves are starting to change. There is now a little crispness to the air. We are so excited to have some cooler weather! Having gone an entire summer (one of the hottest in a row) without air conditioning in our car we are looking forward to lower temperatures.

This weekend was the Father's and Son's campout. Oliver has been so excited! Everyday he would ask, "A camping?" Only to be told not yet. Wes and Oliver would have nightly talks about what they would do while camping. On Friday after dropping Sophie off at school I helped Oliver pack a few things in his monkey backpack. He grabbed his rainboots, his goggles, and his nightlight. :) I told him he might want some jammies and some clothes. But all of that wouldn't fit in his bag so we took out his boots and he promptly put them on his feet. Then it was time to take a nap. He slept with his boots on. When it was time to get Sophie I walked in his room where he promptly sat up and said, "Hi, Mom!" It rained so much that afternoon that the campout was cancelled. He was devastated. We decided to set up our small tent downstairs so they could have a campout of their own. Oliver was so excited that he wouldn't stay still to fall asleep and ended up sleeping in his crib. Sophie however has slept in the tent two nights in a row. :)

In other news..... we are expecting baby #3!!!!! We are really excited and are so grateful for this new little one who will join our family the beginning of February. This picture was me at 18 weeks but I am now 19 weeks. Almost halfway there! For the most part I have felt pretty good this pregnancy. Thankfully I don't get very sick but have been super tired. But considering we've moved three times since July it makes sense I have been so tired all the time. We are looking forward to adding a new little one to our family.
