Life has been going by very fast! Sophie has grown up so quickly and just loves Kindergarten. We have had a few times where she has gotten in trouble for talking when she's not supposed to but we have really been working hard on that. She is doing so much better!
I've also started potty training Oliver. He has been doing good if I take him every hour but still has yet to tell me when he needs to go. So far though it has been really easy with him. He's such a good little boy.
A few weeks ago Sophie told me she wanted to walk to her classroom on her own. Her school is just up the hill but is too far for me to walk it with her everyday. So I drop her off and pick her up everyday. It was really hard for me to let her walk into school on her own. I didn't cry but get close some days. Now everyday she walks in all by herself. I'm so proud of her for wanting to independent.
Oliver has stopped taking his afternoon nap everyday. He still naps occasionally but it's usually when we get in the car to go somewhere. :)
He also figured out how to climb out of his crib. I decided to set up the toddler bed and see how he did. The first night he slept until 9am and didn't come out once. Since then he's come up in bed with Wes and I in the middle of the night a few times. But for the most part he has done really well. I can't believe how quickly he has grown up!
I've also started sewing again. Mostly clothes for my kids like this rainbow nightgown for Sophie. It's a full length nightgown to the floor, I kind of wish I had one. ;)
We've also been enjoying the fall and have raked up the little leaves we have to play in.
Oliver fell asleep in the car on the way to the store and finished his nap in the shopping cart. Which has never happened. He was super tired!
This past week was spirit week at school. Sophie had tons of fun wearing clothes backward, wearing mismatched clothes and doing her hair crazy.
Life isn't slowing down but I am trying harder to enjoy being a Mother to these two. I think they are both pretty amazing.
