Every year we get a real Christmas Tree. I just love tall skinny trees and the scent of pine throughout the house. This year the weather was freezing as we searched but we found one quickly and returned home for some warm hot chocolate.
We also found Santa at a craft fair in town. Oliver asked him for a Rocket Ship and Sophie asked for a Fairy Garden. Despite Oliver's face he was thrilled to see Santa and talked about him all month long.
We did get one really bad snow storm this month. Sophie and Oliver begged to go out and play in the snow. I gathered up some warm clothes and sent them out to our patio. They lasted about 10 minutes. :)
It's been fun seeing the magic of Christmas through these two kiddos eyes.
