I'm loving spending time with Sophie. Just the two of us.

I love her fun and sweet personality. She's starting to do imaginative play and I love hearing what she says. Someday's shes a dinosaur or a lion crawling around the house. But most days she hides from the "pink mouse." But she reassures me that it's a nice mouse. Which is good. We wouldn't want a mean mouse at our house.

Last night I tucked her in bed and left. When I checked on her a few hours later I was surprised to see her sound asleep in the rocking chair. I wondered if I should move her but she looked so comfortable I just decided to leave her there. She did eventually go back to her bed and when I asked her this morning if she slept in her rocking chair she replied, "No, I sleep bed." But this picture proves that she still does like to be rocked to sleep. It makes me wonder if this is a nightly ritual of hers.
